With the properties being gutted, and renovated – there will be brand new electrical lines. A circuit panel will be essential in controlling the electricity system. The circuit panel can be fully maxed since there will likely be no more renovations. Unless code forbids it, there will be NMB sheathing wiring. GFI outlets will be what you would expect, and will be located in the bathroom, kitchen, and lavatory.
On the roof will be solar panels. This will be a benefit to those renting a house since they will be responsible for the electricity bill. However, this will be no big deal for those renting apartments since the electricity service is included with the rent. However, what would be of benefit is every residence will have a battery bank. The bank will fill up during the day, and at night – it will use the battery bank before taking from the grid. This will be a benefit to you as you would have a lower electricity bill even though electricity is used for cooking, heating, and hot water.
