Any residence of 1 Bedroom (1B), or larger will have certain rooms available for the tenant. With that said, the goal will be to give the tenant everything they will need to do everything they will need to do in their home. The rooms will be designed to maximize usable space. With that in mind, bathrooms, kitchen, and lavatories, will be as small as possible therefore leaving room for the communal rooms, and the bedrooms.
Since every building will be different, there will be no way to determine the square footage of the rooms. There will be a minimum standard, but again – considering I am not well versed in architecture, I will not be able to go into details of the rooms. There will be some notations such as ethernet lines, and coaxial as well as proximity to where everything will be. This is intended to give a clear imagination of the room.
There will be some things to consider. First, with exception of the bathrooms, kitchen, and lavatory – there will be no ceiling lights. This is designed with purpose, and designed to reduce the need to call maintenance to replace a light bulb. All other rooms will have wall sconces, and a slider switch to control the intensity of the lights. This is designed to make things as flexible as possible. Also, especially in apartments, it would be required by the lease to use LED bulbs. This is to reduce your carbon footprint, and maximize the efficiency of the residence.
Each room will have its own page. I will go into detail of any unique features, and make it as clear of a picture as possible. The only exceptions to these rooms will be the SROs which is a Single Room Occupancy.. This is basically a glorified sleeping room. All of my SROs will have a ¾ bathroom which will be described in more detail on the appropriate page.
